The Courtyard Shop was opened in July 2005 and has since become a very popular visitor destination open all year round.
So what makes us so popular?
Perhaps it’s that we make our own Homemade Loch Tay Soft Fudge right here on site and visitors come from miles around to taste and buy.
Perhaps it’s the wonderful Arran ice cream we sell, or the local produce we stock, or the fun gift shop we have.
Perhaps it’s because our customers have sent or received one of our hampers from our Food of Scotland website.
Perhaps it’s because we are surrounded by the most beautiful scenery Scotland has to offer. We have mountain hikes and river walks right on our doorstep. A playground for mountain bikers to explore; and beautiful Loch Tay right outside our window offering all the attractions associated with a large expanse of inland water from boat safaris to wild water swimming, kayaking and sail boarding.
Perhaps it’s because we are situated within the holiday complex known as Mains of Taymouth Estate.
As well as The Courtyard Shop you will find The Courtyard Bar and Restaurant, Mains of Taymouth Golf Course, Mains of Taymouth Stables and of course some of the best 4 and 5 star Holiday Accommodation Highland Perthshire has to offer.
Whatever our visitors reasons for coming to see us we believe the sum of all these parts working together to create a special experience is what people will remember when they leave us and is what will encourage them to tell others, and return themselves.
For more information on all The Courtyard Shop has to offer please use the links above. We look forward to welcoming you to our very special place and hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy looking after you when here.
Taymouth Courtyard is situated within Mains of Taymouth Country Estate, a 120 acre estate nestled by the delightful little conservation village of Kenmore and magnificent Loch Tay in Highland Perthshire, deep within Rob Roy and Campbell country and bordered by the Tay Forest Park on one side and the River Tay on the other.
Getting to Taymouth Courtyard is very easy, whether you are travelling from the north or south. Taymouth Courtyard is ’unmissable’ – at the northern end of the village.
